Concrete Repair & Replacement

Cracked, crumbling, or uneven concrete does not have to stay that way — we fix it right the first time so you are not dealing with the same problem again a year later.

When Concrete Starts to Fail, Act Early

Concrete is tough, but it is not indestructible. Over time, tree roots, soil movement, water intrusion, heavy loads, and Texas heat cycles all take a toll. What starts as a hairline crack can grow into a serious structural issue if it is left alone long enough.

The good news is that most concrete problems are fixable — and the earlier you catch them, the less expensive the solution. Whether you have a cracked driveway, a spalled sidewalk, a heaved patio slab, or a deteriorating set of steps, our team can assess what you have and tell you honestly whether repair or full replacement is the smarter call.

We handle concrete repair and replacement for homes and businesses throughout Wichita Falls, TX. Our crew has seen all kinds of damage, and we know how to match existing concrete as closely as possible so the repair does not look out of place.

Repair or Replace? Here Is How We Think About It

Not every damaged slab needs to be torn out and redone. But not every crack is worth patching either. Here is a straightforward way to think about which route makes sense for your situation.

When Repair Makes Sense

  • Isolated cracks that are narrow and not actively growing
  • Surface spalling or pitting that is cosmetic rather than structural
  • A slab that is otherwise solid but has one or two problem areas
  • Concrete that is less than 15 years old with localized damage
  • Joints that have become worn or hollow-sounding

When Replacement Is the Better Move

  • Widespread cracking across most of the surface area
  • Significant heaving, settling, or sinking throughout the slab
  • Concrete that is 25 or more years old and deteriorating broadly
  • Damage caused by a failed or shifting sub-base
  • Areas where water is pooling due to structural slope issues

When we come out for an estimate, we will walk the area with you and explain exactly what we are seeing and why we recommend one approach over the other. We are not going to tell you to replace something just to charge more, and we are not going to patch something that really needs to be torn out.

Types of Damage We Fix

We handle a wide range of concrete repair and replacement work across both residential and commercial properties.

  • Cracked driveways with linear, map, or corner cracking
  • Spalled surfaces where the top layer is flaking or peeling away
  • Heaved or sunken slabs caused by soil movement or tree roots
  • Deteriorated concrete steps that have become a trip hazard
  • Broken or settling sidewalk panels in front of your home or business
  • Failed expansion joints that are allowing water to penetrate the slab
  • Garage floor cracks and surface deterioration
  • Partial slab replacement where only a section has failed

If you have uneven concrete that is causing a trip hazard, we can also look at concrete leveling as an alternative to full panel replacement. It is faster and often less disruptive, depending on the cause of the settling.

Do not wait until small cracks become big problems.

How We Handle Your Repair or Replacement Job

Here is what to expect when you call us about damaged concrete. We keep the process simple and stay in communication with you every step of the way.

First, we come out and take a look in person. Photos are helpful but nothing replaces actually seeing the damage, feeling whether a slab is hollow underneath, and checking how water is draining around the area. We use that assessment to put together an accurate written quote.

For repairs, we cut out the damaged section cleanly, prepare the sub-base if needed, and pour new concrete that is properly bonded to the surrounding slab. We use high-strength repair mixes designed for adhesion and durability, not standard pour mixes that can fail at the edges.

For full replacements, we break out and haul away the old concrete, address any sub-base issues, and pour a fresh slab with the right reinforcement and thickness for your application. Our team also installs proper control joints to reduce the chance of random cracking in the future. Frequently Asked Questions

Can you match the color and texture of my existing concrete?
We do our best to match the existing concrete as closely as possible, but a perfect match is not always achievable. New concrete is lighter in color and may look slightly different from aged concrete even when using the same mix. Over time, weathering tends to even out the appearance. We will be upfront about what to expect before we start so there are no surprises when the work is done.
How long does concrete repair last?
Done properly, a concrete repair can last 10 years or more. The key is addressing the underlying cause, not just filling the crack. If a crack is caused by sub-base failure and that sub-base is not fixed, the same crack will come back. We look at root causes first so your repair actually holds long-term. A full replacement, when that is the right call, typically lasts 25 to 40 years.
How soon can I use the area after a repair?
For small crack fills or surface repairs, you can typically walk on the area within a few hours. For partial slab replacements involving a full concrete pour, you need to wait at least 24 to 48 hours for foot traffic and 7 days before driving on it. We will give you a specific timeline based on the type of repair we do and the weather conditions at the time.
